Unlike the year before, there were only six participants for the Mount Hamilton Hill Climb in 1998. We took a more leisurely pace this time to enjoy the view (which also helped me negotiate the rough pavement on Hwy 130). On the way up, we ran into a barrage of Ferraris (and one Lamborghini Countach) coming down. I suspect they were part of a local Ferrari Club enjoying the roads and sights of Mt. Hamilton. The weather was a bit on the chilly side, but the air was clear and the view was spectacular.
